a new battle in Naran

[Lord of the Bears]

Hi,
our Naran's site has been updated with the pictures of the great battle between the Dwarves and Orcs, Sandro and I have played the ay of Epiphany, which ended with an unexpected victory of the Dwarfs, as a result of two events that changed the outcome of the battle:
- The flight of Jagghernout following a reaction test (he had suffered several wounds but had spent all them passing the ST or to repeat them thanks to his Priests)
- The murder at the hands of a Standard bearer on bear, of the Orcs Warchief on war chariot: they had been hired first by a Hero on bear and the Dwarf Prince Son of Dragon (on bear to). The Orc Warchief had killed the Dwarf hero, but had suffered some wounds in combat, he was then contacted by the Dwarve Warchief on bear, accompanied by his Standard-bearer on bear. In the final fighting, it was the last wound, inflicted to the Orc Warchief by the Dwarf Standard-bearer, to cause the death of the Orc leader.
A truly epic battle!
In the end, the victory was to the Dwarf, a difference of 546 points on 4000 points army + 1000 points arcane.

Hello everyone,
Sunday, March 7th, we played a battle of Naran Fantasy Wars at the convention GIOCHIVASSO 2010.
The scenario we had played was inspired by the world of THE LORD OF THE RINGS, with our revisitation on Naran.
We also used the series of GW's miniatures of LotR, together with that of Mirliton's Fantasy Warriors range.
Epic was the clash between the Paladin on the Dragon (Eragon) who supports the Elves, at first against a Troll, and then also against the Nazgul on Wyvern. To his aid then he comes the Archer Hero Llegondar (aka Legolas).
The clash between the forces of Xanatar (aka Saruman) and those of the Elves of the kingdom of Larendheim (aka Lorien) was won by the Tarakhars (Uruk-Hai) but have had to settle for a "lesser victory".
The result was 2424 to 2040 points of losses inflicted, with a difference in favor of Xanatar (Sandro) of 386.
